PTA General Board Meeting
Join us for our first General PTA Meeting of the school year! We’ll gather in the Montemalaga Library on September 8 from 9:00–11:00 AM to kick off the year, connect with fellow parents, and learn what’s ahead for our school community.

Back to School Night

Palos Verdes' premier food and wine festival and fundraising event brings together local restaurants, wineries, breweries, live music, and hundreds of community members for an unforgettable afternoon at Malaga Cove.

Join us on October 16 from 3:00–6:00 PM for our annual Fall Festival! Bring the whole family and enjoy games, activities, treats, music, and plenty of opportunities to connect with our Monte Malaga Elementary community.

Coffee after Drop-Off
Want a sneak peek at what’s new this year? Grab a cup of coffee, meet other parents, and learn about upcoming events, programs, and ways to get involved. Come find out what makes Montemalaga so special!
You can also complete your volunteer clearance, including TB clearance sign-off and Live Scan, while you’re there.
Live Scan: $20 — cash or credit card accepted.
TB clearance and Live Scan are required to volunteer on campus.
School Supply Drop-Off
Got those new pencils, crayons, and school supplies ready? Drop them off between 10 AM–12 PM the day before school so everything is waiting in the classroom for the first day!
Bring supplies to the MPR, or stay in your car and drive through the roundabout—our volunteers will collect them for you!
This event is completely optional. Thank you for helping your child start the school year ready to learn!
TK/Kinder/New Fam Welcome Day
Welcome to Montemalaga! Join us from 3:30–4:30 PM in the TK Yard to meet our principal, PTA Executive Board, and other new families.
TK and Kinder students can explore campus, meet their teachers, visit their classrooms, and make new friends before the big first day! New families will also have an opportunity to tour the school and get familiar with campus.
Light snacks and craft activities will be provided by the PTA. We can’t wait to welcome you to Montemalaga!
